Wythena Muntz Fleming, Exxon operator

Wythena Marie "Wy" Muntz Fleming, of Glassboro, N.J., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013.

She was born Feb. 13, 1962, at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, to the late Elaine Coker Muntz and Charles "Butch" Muntz. Wythena was blessed by her grandfather, the Rev. Roland Coker at First Baptist Church of Cheswold. Wythena graduated from Kingsway Regional High School in Swedesboro, N.J. in 1980. She was an operator at the Exxon Mobil Lube Plant in Paulsboro, N.J. for 22 years. Her passions in life were caring for her family, gardening, cooking, genealogy, painting, reading, traveling and trips to New York City and camping. She was also very patriotic.

Wythena was united in marriage in 1993 to Steven Richard Fleming. She was predeceased by her mother, Elaine Coker Muntz; and grandparents, the Rev. Roland Coker and Hazella Coker. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Steven Fleming of Glassboro, N.J.; father, Charles (Debbie) Muntz of Newark; daughter, Brittany (Michael) Durocher of New Castle; son, Dakota Richard Fleming of Glassboro, N.J.; step-children, Justin (Jeanette) Fleming of Pitman, N.J., and Jenna (Matthew) Fleming of Pitman; grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Zoe and Elaina; sisters, Valerie (Thomas) Matteo of Swedesboro, N.J., and Jennifer (Rondie) Robinson of Abingdon, Md.; brothers, William (Kendra) Muntz of Swedesboro, Christopher (Kara) Muntz of New Castle, and Robert Muntz of Rehoboth Beach; sister, Amanda Muntz of New Castle; aunt, Arlena "Pinky" Coker of Cheswold; uncle, Roland (Shannon) Coker of Virginia Beach, Va.; loving "Crazy Aunt Wy"; her nephew and nieces, Dominic, Kristina and Elaina; also survived by her loyal dog "Baby". She was loved my many cousins, coworkers and friends.

Friends may greet the family Friday, Aug. 23, 6:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 24, 9 to 11 a.m. in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Immanuel Union United Methodist Cemetery, Cheswold.
