Kenneth 'Kenny' Moore, forklift operator

Kenneth “Kenny” Moore, 22, of Milford, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013.

Kenny graduated from Milford High School in 2009. He also attended Del Tech in Dover, and worked as a forklift driver for SPI Pharma. Kenny loved his sports and participated in Milford Little League, Senior League, lacrosse, and in line hockey. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys, and loved to play fantasy football and playing on his X-Box Live.

Kenny was a caring and fun loving person and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and having them over at his home. He made friends easily through his warm smile. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone out in need. He loved his dog Carlisle and his brand new Silverado truck. His gentle and caring spirit will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl R. Moore.

He is survived by his mother, Lorie Coverdale (Keith) of Milford; father – Gary Moore (Melissa) of Felton; grandparents, Thelma Rae and Oscar Melvin of Harrington, R. Marie Moore of Felton, Lou and Dottie Papp of Lewes, Gerry Thompson of Felton; brothers, Marty Coverdale of Milford and Adam G. Moore of Felton; and sister, Amanda M. Moore of Felton.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will start at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, a celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at the Carlisle Fire Hall, Milford.

Kenny’s family will be accepting flowers; however, donations can be made in memory of Kenny to the Carlisle Fire Hall, PO Box 292, Milford, DE 19963.
