Sundance annual auction precedes the dance

The 26th Annual Sundance Auction was held Aug. 31 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. The auction is the opening event for the two-day Sundance celebration titled Rainbow XXVI: Circus of Summer Fun. Presenting sponsor for this year’s event was Bank of New York Mellon.
The auction, featuring hundreds of items, benefits the many programs of CAMP Rehoboth. The annual event was co-chaired by CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director Steve Elkins and President Murray Archibald. Elkins and Archibald started the event in celebration of their 10th anniversary. The first year, they raised just over $6,000. Last year $130,000 was raised.
