Bonnie Yoder joins Georgetown Medical Associates
Georgetown Medical Associates’ Dr. Beshara N. Helou has welcomed Bonnie Yoder to the practice.
A 1995 Wilmington University graduate, Yoder holds a masters of science degree in nursing and a family nurse practitioner degree. She is board certified by The American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Yoder enjoys practicing family medicine because she sees patients from age 2 through adult senior years. She is accepting new patients.
As a family-oriented person, she likes getting to know individual patients and their families.
“I believe practicing medicine is a privilege and a calling. Each patient’s wellness has physical, emotional and spiritual aspects,” she said.
In addition to family medicine, Bonnie has also practiced in settings including cardiology, urgent care, emergency room and migrant care.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Wilmington University Honor Society, and is listed in Empire Who’s Who Empowering Executives and Professionals.
A parishioner of Eagle’s Nest Fellowship Church in Milton, Yoder enjoys reading, spending time with friends and with her family; two sons, two daughters-in-law; and five grandchildren.
Yoder, who worked with Dr. Helou for nearly a decade at his previous Georgetown location, joins nurse practitioners Rita Meadows and Jo Marvel.
