Dewey appreciative of lighted radar signs

September 15, 2013

The Dewey Beach Public Safety Task Force would like to thank Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf and Sen. Ernie Lopez for their help in acquiring the three lighted radar signs for the town of Dewey.  Rep. Schwartzkopf and Sen. Lopez paid for the signs out of their discretionary funds.

Without their efforts and those from Police Chief Mackert and DelDOT representative Mike Somers, this would not have been accomplished.

One of the goals we identified as the public safety task force was to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety within the town of Dewey Beach.

Thank you again.

Len Read, co-chair
Dewey Public Safety Task Force
