Rehoboth Beach Museum to host panel discussion by restaurant owners Sept. 24

Beach Eats presentation gives look at past and present of Rehoboth eateries

Rehoboth Beach Museum, in conjunction with the Beach Eats exhibit, will present a forum reflecting the evolution of and ever-evolving enjoyment of food in Rehoboth Beach. The presentation will take place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, on the second floor of the Rehoboth Beach Library, 226 Rehoboth Ave.

A group of both past and present restaurant owners will share stories and talk of their discoveries and experiences in the search to provide the best of fun foods or fine dining for Rehoboth Beach visitors and residents throughout the years. The panel will include Keith Fitzgerald of the Back Porch Café; Nancy Wolfe Wayson, former owner of Chez La Mer; Emmalane Ewing, former owner of Surfside Grille; and Terry Plowman, former owner of the Front Page as well as other restaurateurs. Cape Gazette food columnist Bob Yesbek will moderate the forum discussion.
