Wanda Wentworth, Beebe Medical Center employee
Wanda Lee Wentworth , born Jan. 11, 1959, passed on to be with God, Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.
She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, aunt and friend. She was a no-non sense woman who had many talents and love for children, animals, baking, crocheting, music and movies to her ultimate loves - her husband Jim and daughter Jamie. A hard worker, she was a 20-year employee of Beebe Medical Center, but also worked in a bakery and a textile mill in her younger years.
She was formerly a treasurer of the Jaycees in Pennsylvania, where she met Jim. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her devoted husband, faithful daughter, loving mother Shirley Fried; father and mother-in-law Allen and Pat Wentworth; mother-in-law Cindy Blounts; and caring sister Sharon Fried; sisters-in-laws Lynn Wilson, Corinne and Amy Wentworth -Kotara and nieces Alexandra and Camille. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Fried; uncle Jack Salmons; and nephew William Wilson.
An informal Sunset Memorial will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m., at Lewes Public Beach, at the end of Savanna Road. Water will be provided, but please bring a chair or blankets as Wanda would want you to be comfortable
