The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) held its annual Rehoboth Beach Walk in Memory to Defeat ALS Sept. 14 on the Boardwalk. The 20 teams gathered at the Bandstand to raise money to fight ALS. Shown is the Team Ted captain Bill Quinn, right, with Jo Pokorny with a portrait of Ted Pokorny. Local resident Ted Pokorny passed away recently after fighting ALS. In the last three years Pokorny and Team Ted have raised $70,000 to fight ALS.
