Police investigate farm theft

Delaware State Police are searching for a man they say drove onto a farm off of Beaver Dam Road twice and took gasoline and equipment.

Police are searching for a white man who drove through a bean field in the 20000 block of Beaver Dam Road near Harbeson in the early morning hours of Aug. 30 and Sept. 10, said Master Cpl. Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police.

The man removed batteries from a tractor and forklift and cut a lock off a gas pump before taking an unknown amount of gasoline, Fournier said.

The man is described as white with a slender build wearing a T-shirt and jeans.
