Brian Jordan, 45, of Frankford, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford.
He was a graduate of Indian River High School and Del Tech Owens Campus with an associates degree in human services. Brian was employed by Ken Crest Services Inc. for more than 25 years. He thoroughly enjoyed working with his gentlemen which were like his second family. Brian was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, had a great smile, enjoyed music, laughing and having fun with family and friends. He was blessed with a fantastic singing voice, singing at different events. As a member of St. John 2nd Baptist Church Choir, his voice was a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Bettie and Clemon Jordon Sr. He is survived by two sisters, Shelly Smith (Girland) of Frankford and Josephine Jarmon (Albert) of Berlin, Md.; and three brothers, Clem Jordon Jr. (Willa) of Frankford, Calvin Jordan (Deborah) of Mitchellville, Md., and Al Jordan (Carol) of Selbyville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He will also be missed by extended family, Steve, Robin, Jerome and David and also his best friend Trisha Scott.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the St. John 2nd Baptist Church, Mt. Joy Road in Millsboro. Friends may also call Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
