On a perfect mid-September day, 15 members of CAMP Rehoboth’s Volunteer on Vacation team partnered with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s Home Repair program. The exterior of Yvonne Blevins’ home in Milford was transformed in one day with a fresh coat of white paint and spiffed-up black shutters.

It was the biggest turnout yet for Volunteer on Vacation, and they had help from Blevins herself, who assisted with scraping, painting, and cleaning up.  She was thrilled with the results.

Volunteer on Vacation offers community service opportunities to residents and vacationers. It unites individuals and groups in creating better community and is a continuation of the work done by CAMP Rehoboth. To join the VOV team or learn more, email
