Millville Walk-In Care closing for season Sept. 30

Beebe Medical Center’s Millville Walk-In Care will close for the season Monday, Sept. 30. Beebe’s Millville primary care physicians will continue to serve the community. Beebe’s lab services, imaging, rehab and outpatient offices will also remain open.

Andrea Matthews, MD, a board-certified family practice physician, and Prentiss Adkins, DO, a board-certified family practice physician, will continue to accept new patients at the Route 26 office. Matthews became a member of the Beebe medical staff in 2010 and opened her Millville office at that time. Adkins, who has been a long-time physician in southern Delaware, joined the Beebe medical staff in Millville this past summer.

Millsboro’s Walk-In Care has expanded its hours and will serve patients every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition, a new Georgetown Walk-In Care will open in late October.

Millville and Millsboro both provide exceptional outpatient services. At Creekside Plaza center on Route 26 in Millville, Beebe offers imaging services such as routine diagnostic radiology, digital mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI technology, as well as Beebe Lab Express. Millville’s center also includes Beebe Rehab Services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/ language pathology. In addition to walk-in care at the Route 113 Millsboro center, Beebe offers imaging services, including diagnostic radiology and digital mammography, as well as Beebe Lab Express. On Mitchell Street in Millsboro, Beebe offers rehab services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/ language pathology.
