Lewes resident Kari Schreffler wins Food Lion kitchen makeover
Food Lion presented a check for $25,000 to Lewes resident Kari Schreffler, at the Rehoboth Beach store Sept. 23.
Schreffler won the grand prize in Food Lion's Kitchen Makeover Sweepstakes.
The first place prize, $10,000 went to Newark resident Wendy Durrant. Food Lion customers were encouraged to enter the sweepstakes between June 19 and July 16. No purchase was necessary. The winners had 24 hours to respond to the notification that they had won. The original first place customer failed to respond, so Durrant, an alternate winner, won the cash prize.
