Jerome 'Jerry' Griffis, lawn care professional

Jerome “Jerry” Michael Griffis, 59, of Dagsboro, formerly of Damascus, Md., passed away suddenly Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
He was the owner and operator of Griff’s Grass Professional Lawncare in Ocean View.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Annette; his children, Michael (Jodi), Michelle Ingram (Dan) and Matthew (Stefanie); and three grandchildren, Ashley, Emily and Ryan Ingram.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, where friends may call after noon.
