The Harry K Foundation announces inaugural Christmas Ball in Rehoboth

Mission is to raise funds to eradicate childhood hunger in Sussex
October 13, 2013

The Harry K Foundation was founded by Harry Keswani with the mission to end childhood hunger in Sussex County. The organization has an ambitious plan to begin its work in the Cape Region, and, with the goal of eliminating hunger for local children in mind, members are seeking to raise funds by hosting their first Christmas Ball Saturday, Dec. 14, from 6 to 11 p.m.

The event will be held at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club and will be a lavish, black-tie event, themed in gold, red and silver. Keswani and his hand-picked committee, which is helping plan and organize the ball, hope the giving spirit of the holiday season will resonate with people locally. Keswani wants people to come to the gala in support of ending hunger in these communities, but to also have a good time and enjoy themselves and the warm community feeling of the holidays.

The Christmas Ball will include an open bar, dinner, live music provided by The Funsters, and a chance to dress up and support a great cause. There will be both live and silent auctions for a variety of items including several handmade diamond jewelry pieces from Atlantic Jewelers, hotel and dining packages, and much more.

The foundation anticipates the annual ball will be a cornerstone in its fundraising efforts for the children of Sussex County who go to bed hungry.

Tickets for the event are $250 and seating is limited. There is a variety of sponsorships available which include tickets as well.
