The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the success of the 35th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival, presented by WSFS Bank. The annual fine arts festival was held Sept. 7 and featured more than 100 artists from the local area and from around the country. Artists' booths and tents lined Parkwood Avenue and Garfield Parkway as well as the bandstand and boardwalk areas.
New this year was the addition of a Children’s Art and Activity Area, located in the Lighthouse Station shops deck area and special a Farm-to-Table Farmer’s Market in the PNC parking. The new Wine Tasting event at Sedona Restaurant in cooperation with Beach Liquors was well-received and exposed many festival attendees to a wide assortment of wines paired with Sedona specialties. We were excited to add these new elements to the event. By offering more to do off the boardwalk, we impacted the town’s businesses’ in a positive way and spotlighted Bethany.
Rick Hundley, owner of the Baja Beach House Grill in downtown Bethany Beach reported his sales were double of those in 2012.

The chamber would also like to thank and acknowledge Garfield Parkway Festival Sponsor ResortQuest Real Estate, Farmer’s Market and Children’s Corner sponsor Burbage Properties and Silent Auction sponsor Mediacom.
