Brick paver dedication ceremony set for Oct. 11

October 3, 2013

Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s Brick Paver Dedication Ceremony will take place Friday, Oct. 11, at Penny Lane in downtown Rehoboth. The first 100 installed bricks will be unveiled at a public ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. The event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.

Brick pavers are an ongoing fundraiser for Rehoboth Beach Main Street, which directly helps fund the beautification and vibrancy of downtown Rehoboth. The cost for a 4-by-8-inch engraved brick and a miniature replica is $175, all of which is tax deductible.

Brick pavers are sold year-round in the Main Street office or can be ordered online at www.downtownrehoboth.com. They are a great gift to commemorate a vacation, honor a loved one or remember a pet. This group of 100 bricks is the first of many to be installed in the new Penny Lane location.
