Epworth Park and Shop spaces available
Epworth Preschool, located at 19285 Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth, is set to host the 4th annual “Park and Shop” event from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 12.
The public is invited to rent a parking spot at Epworth and use the space to sell household items, furniture, toys and gear or anything legally sellable in Delaware. They also encourage any representatives selling products such as 31, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, etc. to rent a space.
“We will have 80-plus sellers of a variety of items. It will be a bargain hunter’s paradise! The event has been advertised on several community calendars, posters around town, church emails and monthly bulletins, banners and lots of word of mouth. We expect the best flow of potential customers yet! Sellers must bring their own tables to set up their goods. We will also offer baked goods and face painting for the kids,” said Betsy Plowman, director of Epworth Preschool.
The cost to rent a spot is $15 for one or $25 for two, with all individual proceeds from the sale going directly to the sellers. The money raised by the rented spaces will benefit Epworth Preschool and raise money to supplement the scholarship funds, expansion of resources, staff training workshops and more.
