Meals on Wheels holds golf fundraiser
The 36th Annual Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth Harry Derrickson Memorial Golf Tournament was held Sept. 23 at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.
The tournament followed the pre-tournament dinner and auction Sept. 22.

The tournament drew 26 teams and 104 players. Overall champions with a score of 52 were Ed Brown, I.G. Burton, Preston Schell and Don Lockwood. Second place in net with a score of 53 was the team of Johnathan Kingery, Max Hutsell and Nick Shevlan. Third place net with a score of 59 were Devin Russell, Dave Humes, Daniel Krausz and David Keck.
The ladies champions with a score of 58 were Mary Ann Slinkman, Barb Thompson, Pat Heil and Lynda Bindseill.
Closest to the pin winners were Nancy Levinson for women and Harry Steele for men. Longest drives were hit by Sandy Oropel and Scott Shockley.
