The Cape Henlopen freshman football team fell to visiting Caesar Rodney 13-0 to drop the Vikings to 3-1 on the season. The Viking offense couldn't get on track, but the defense only allowed the strong CR offense just 13 points.
"It was a hard fought battle," said Cape coach Bo Gooch.
The Vikings host Dover Oct. 9 at 4pm.
