Bagel Bombers win U10 Sand Blast Open

The Bagel Bombers U10 hardball team won the Atlantic Sands Hotel Sand Blast Open at Sports at the Beach played Oct. 5 and 6.
The Bombers went 4-0, winning the championship game against South Jersey Warriors by the score of 14-12. The team has nine players from Lewes, Milton and Rehoboth and one each from Milford and Harrington.
The champion Bagel Bombers U10 squad includes, in back (l-r) Dave Jarrell, coach; Dan Sponaugle, coach; Scot Husbands, coach; and Rusty Rauch, manager.
In the middle are Mikey Jarrell, Layne Smith, Brian Sponaugle, Nick Cox, Carson Kammerer and Hunter Rauch.
In front are Josh Reinhold, D.J. Osterman, Tyler Husbands, Vinny DiIorio and Austin Rhue.
