Peruvian sailors are best in the world

Peru is well represented in the winner's circle of the 2014 Sunfish World Championship hosted by the Lewes Yacht Club.
Several top finishers, including defending champion Alexander Zimmerman, left, and youth champion Alonzo Collantes de Riglos, came from Peru to contend for top honors.
Awards were presented during an Oct. 11 banquet at the yacht club. A stubborn nor'easter that churned up Delaware Bay waters forced cancellation of three days of racing.
