Dewey Scooter Rally benefits Surfrider Foundation

The Dewey Beach Scooter Nation held a 2013 Dewey Beach Scooter Rally, organized by the Rev. Robert Digiacomo, Sept. 30. The proceeds from this year's event, totaling $1,650, were donated to the Surfrider Foundation Delaware Chapter Oct. 8.

The Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protetion and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves, and beaches for all people through conservation, activism, research, and education.
