Field maintenance expert Joe McCabe receives Award of Excellence

Sussex Tech’s field maintenance expert Joe McCabe recently received the O.A. Newton Field Maintenance Award of Excellence.
Presented annually by the Delaware Association of Athletic Directors, the award recognizes excellence in the maintenance of athletic fields on high school campuses throughout Delaware.
McCabe joined Sussex Tech in 2010. He not only maintains the athletic fields, but continuously beautifies the campus with flowers and plants. McCabe was nominated for the award by Sussex Tech Athletic Director Nick Pegelow.
