The Cape Henlopen soccer team dominated a good Delmar squad 3-0 Oct. 22 at Legends Stadium for the eighth shutout of the season. Cape improved to 12-1 with games remaining at Smyrna and Indian River.
The Vikings led 2-0 at the half on goals by Bill Swontek at 3:17 on an assist from Kai Vitella and Zach Swarbrick at 38:00 on a breakaway converting a pass from Max Euler.
Euler blasted a cannon shot early at 11:05 in the second half as Swontek picked up an assist.
