Loy J. Hood, 77, of Milford, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
She was born Dec. 14, 1935, the daughter of the late William B. Jones and Edith M. Reynolds-Hood. She attended Sussex Central High School and worked for Milford Memorial-Bay Health Hospital in the IT Department. She loved working in her yard, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband Howard T. Hood preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Michael Hood; and daughter Wendy Silicato and her husband Mark; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah Silicato.
Services will be private. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford.
