Cape Chorale to perform at National Christmas Tree Music Program Dec. 13

Group to sing in President's Park, Washington D.C.

Cape Henlopen High School’s Cape Chorale group, under the direction of Louise Foster, has been invited by the U.S. Department of the Interior to perform at the National Christmas Tree Music Program in Washington, D.C., from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13. The chorale will perform on stage on the Ellipse in President’s Park, entertaining visitors from around the world who have come to view the lighting of the National Christmas Tree.

“We are honored and excited to be able to participate in this prestigious event. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students,” said Foster. Foster immediately accepted the invitation upon receipt Oct. 23.
