Air Mobility Command Museum to host Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11

The Air Mobility Command Museum will hold a special ceremony honoring all veterans at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11. This free event in recognition of Veterans Day is open to the public.

The Air Mobility Command Museum will open its gates at 9 a.m. Limited seating will be available beginning at 9:50 a.m., with audience to be in place by 11 a.m.

The Veterans Day ceremony, which begins with the Posting of the Colors, will include special guest USAF Ret. Col. Richard B. Harper as well as the Milford Community Band performing a medley of music to honor all military personnel, past and present.

The museum’s display of static aircraft will be open until 2:45p.m. for the public’s enjoyment.

Directions: Take Exit 91 off Delaware Route 1 and follow the signs to the museum. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission and parking are free.
