Lois A. Clough, retired manager

Lois A. Clough, 73, of Milford went to be with God Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Milford Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 3, 1940. Lois was assistant manager of Milford Stitching for many years and was also manager for Service Oil. She was a member and past president of South Bowers Ladies Auxiliary which she loved helping out. She was also there for everyone else. She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Coffman Bayless; stepfather, Clarence Bayless; and a special cousin, Dora Sharp. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Melvin of Milford; three grandchildren, Chris Clough and wife Megan of Felton, John Wothers and wife April of Camden and Beth Jones of Milford; her sister, Alma Draper and husband Robert of Felton; brother, Clarence Bayless and wife Debra of Milford; six nieces and nephews, Shirley Lane and husband Rick of Milford, Faith Frey and husband John of Decatur, Ill., Chad Bayless of Lewes, Kelly Bayless of Milford, Bobby Draper of Felton, Anne Draper of Wilmington; and 10 great-nieces and -nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be private.
