Beacon Student Council officers participate in Leadership Conference

Beacon Middle School Student Council joined other schools from throughout the state Oct. 30 at the state's annual Leadership Conference in Dover.
Gov. Jack Markell spoke with the students about leadership, service to the community, volunteering and the benefits of being in student council.
The Rev. Dr. John Moore from United Way addressed community service and offered ways to get involved in the community.
