Ronald John Mifflin, owned beauty salon

Ronald John Mifflin of Georgetown departed this life Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at his residence.

Born in Georgetown, he was the son of the late Frank Sparrow and Lula Mifflin Rowley. Prior to retiring, he owned and operated Ronnie's of New York, a beauty salon.

Fond memories will be cherished by his five brothers, Marvin (Sherry S.) Abbott Jr. of Georgetown, Bishop Roland (Lynne G.) Mifflin of Dagsboro, Randolph Mifflin of Jackson Heights, N.Y., Daniel Mifflin of Georgetown, and Peter (Tamu) Rowley of Bridgeton, N.J.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 9, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mount Joy Road in Millsboro. Bishop Roland Mifflin will officiate. Disposition will be private.
