Thomas R. Nye, retired CEO

Thomas R. Nye, 85 passed away peacefully at home in Lewes, Monday, Nov. 4, 2013. He was born in Arlington, Mass. July 16, 1928, son of Russell V. B. Nye and Sibyl (Partridge) Nye.

Mr. Nye was raised in the Boston, Mass. area and a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He and his family lived in Madison, N.J. for 31 years. He was CEO of Keuffel & Esser Co. in Morristown, N.J. Mr. and Mrs. Nye shared their time between New London, N.H. and Boca Grande, Fla.

Mr. Nye is survived by his loving family: wife  Patricia B. Nye; son Bradford V.B. Nye of Budd Lake, N.J.; daughter, Debra Nye Moran (Timothy J.) of Georgetown; and sister, Sibyl Nye Erdman of Chevy Chase, Md. He was a grandfather to Bentley Jeanne Moran, a great-grandfather and uncle.

All services will be private.
