Capital Ringers to present concerts Dec. 7 and 14 in Cape Region

The Capital Ringers of Dover will appear in the Cape Region on two consecutive Saturdays to present their annual handbell Christmas concert. They will appear at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 20276 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, and at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 211 Mulberry St., Lewes.

The theme for this year’s concert is Believe, which is also the theme song of the Christmas film “The Polar Express.” Gathered in front of Wilmington and Western Railroad’s vintage steam engine to celebrate that theme are (l-r) Jim Willard, Vicki Stockslager, Director Linda Simms, Pam Ferguson, Velvet Siegel, Susan Eshelman, Andy Siegel, Christine Fox and Heather Beauchamp. Not pictured are Will Covington, Betsy Gray, Karen Jerolamon, Brenda Powers, Kevin Chamberlain, Chris Myers and Nancy Yost.

The concert is full of family favorites and Christmas classics performed on handbells, flute, horn, and percussion -  an evening to share with family and friends.
