Jane L. Burnley, loved cats

Jane L. Burnley of Magnolia passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Kent General Hospital. Jane was born Dec. 21, 1954 in Wilmington, to the late Charles T. McLocklin and Claudia Boyd McLocklin.

She owned and operated a janitorial service, Under the Rug, for 20 years. Jane had also worked as a bartender for Dockside Yacht Club, Joe Remedies, Farmer in b'del, just to name a few. She enjoyed crewel work, gardening and loved cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Penny McLocklin and Bobbi Clear. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, William "Bill" J. Burnley of Magnolia; brother, Rick McLocklin and his wife Cathy of New Castle; sister-in-law, Susan Motta of North East, Md.; brother-in-law, Eric Burnley of Milton; numerous nieces and nephews; and all her beloved cats.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
