New book offers women spiritual fitness through Bible study

November 17, 2013

Tammy Carpenter's “Spiritual Synergy: A Ladies’ Manual to Becoming Spiritually Fit” was written for women who are tired of being weighed down by the problems of the world.

Drawing an analogy between spiritual well-being, and weight loss and fitness, Carpenter uses the physical to help readers understand the spiritual. Each chapter focuses on losing the “weight” that is damaging to the spirit, and gaining the “muscle” to strengthen spiritual well-being. Continuing the analogy with physical fitness, Carpenter includes what she describes as "a detox sheet for crisis situations and an alphabetical vitamin verse sheet for daily consumption.”

“The short, powerful lessons will bless the busy schedule of women today,” Carpenter says. “When applied, the quick biblical results will encourage readers to continue the study to completion.”

Carpenter says she wants to help other women realize that they can make their lives complete with Jesus Christ. No matter where the reader is on her personal spiritual walk, Carpenter’s book offers guidance and inspiration for lasting life changes. The book appears in softcover and e-book format. It is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
