Heather's Home Works hold fundraiser for DBCC

Heather’s Home Works of Ocean View held its second annual fundraiser to benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition Oct. 29 at at Fox’s Pizza in Selbyville The event raised more than $1,200 in donations. The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce held its business-after-hours event at the restaurant that evening and donated $70 from its 50/50 raffle to DBCC. The coalition representatives expressed thanks for the tremendous support.

Heather’s Home Works is a member of Cleaning for a Reason support for cancer patients. Workers are presently cleaning the home of a DBCC mentee going through chemotherapy. The cleaning costs the mentee nothing, and Heather's Home Works will clean her house once a month for four months.
