James R. Flowers, "Guitar Man"

James Robert "Bobby" Flowers, 60, also known as "Guitar Man," of Millington, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at his home. Born March 24, 1953, in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Morgan Flowers Sr. and Ivanette Holeger. Mr. Flowers attended Bohemia Manor High School. In 1990, he married Shirley Flowers.

He worked several jobs, most recently for Gillespie as a foreman of the Precast yard. Mr. Flowers loved playing guitar, drinking beer and singing.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by a stepson, Brian K. Lapkiewicz of Earleville, Md.; three sisters, Lola Rebecca Hollinger of Rehoboth, Barbara Jean Czerny of Sykesville, Md., and Delores Lockwood of Warwick, Md.; two brothers, Morgan Flowers of Millington, and John W. Flowers of Millington; one grandson, Brian K. Lapkiewicz Jr. of Elkton, Md., and a niece, Sharon Sewell of Lincoln.

Funeral services will be held privately. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home PA, Millington.
