Harry K Foundation's Christmas Ball tickets on sale until Nov. 25

November 12, 2013

Tickets are selling quickly for the first Christmas Ball given by the Harry K Foundation. The lavish event will be held from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. The foundation is holding this premiere event to raise money to help put an end to childhood hunger in southern Delaware.

The Christmas Ball will feature a red carpet, limousine service, valet parking and escorts for ladies. Guests will receive a personal welcome from the foundation’s founder, Harry Keswani, as they enter the ball, and once they are through the doors, the luxury begins. In addition to delicious food and cocktails, guests will mingle with attendees such as Sen. Ernie Lopez, R-Lewes; Miss Delaware Rebecca Lee Jackson Rep. Steve Smyk, R-Milton and others.

The Honor Guard from Dover Air Force Base will provide a color guard and perform the national anthem to begin the ball.  Local ROTC members will be white-gloved and will escort the ladies as they enter the ball.

Guests can peruse the silent auction where exclusive items will be available including a limited-edition piece from Lladro - no longer available in stores - valued at $3,750. There will also be an exclusive, limited-edition Seiko Astron men’s watch valued at $3,450. Other silent auction items will include artwork as well as restaurant packages for dining enthusiasts.

For those who enjoy the live auction, Keswani will be front and center as he debuts two pieces designed especially for the Christmas Ball. Those who know his eye for jewelry design will be clamoring for these one-of-a-kind jewels.

Tickets are on sale for the Christmas Ball until Monday, Nov. 25. Tickets are $250 and all the proceeds go directly to feeding children in need in the Cape community, and the need is great. Keswani wants to personally urge the community to help him with his H4 initiative, which stands for Help Harry Halt Hunger.
