November 12, 2013

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Women will serve their Annual Soup Luncheon Saturday, Dec. 7, to the hungry crowds who will be walking the streets of Lewes enjoying the popular Lewes Historical Society Christmas House Tour. The menu will include hot vegetable beef soup, vegetarian minestrone soup, rolls, dessert and beverage. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall of the church on Second Street at St. Peter’s Square. The cost is $8, and tickets can be purchased at the event.

A gingerbread house, Christmas table runner, and holiday wreath, all handmade, and a gourmet basket will be raffled at the close of the luncheon. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at the church office beginning Monday, Nov. 25, or at the luncheon.

Chris Miller-Marcin, chairwoman of the Annual Soup Luncheon, said the event will provide funds for outreach to the church and the community. For more information, call the church office at 302-645-8479.
