(Lewes, Delaware)  Lewes Terminal Manager Nikky Fisher (right) presents Diann Corsnitz of Lewes, Delaware with an i-Pad mini for her participation in the Cape May – Lewes Ferry’s summer survey.   Ms. Corsnitz was randomly selected to receive the prize from the nearly 2,700 respondents who filled out an on-board customer survey this summer.

Cape May – Lewes Ferry marine personnel conducted the 2013 Passenger Survey during regularly scheduled crossings in July and August.  The survey results provide insight into what’s important to the Ferry customer, how to more effectively and efficiently communicate with them, and ways to strengthen the customer relationship.  The goal of the survey is to improve the customer experience at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.

Some of the highlights of the 2013 customer survey were that 32% were on their first trip on the Cape May – Lewes Ferry; 56% were on vacation or sightseeing; 26% were vacationing in Ocean City, MD; 32% were foot passengers; 44% were encouraged to travel on the ferry by digital means; and 90% of all passengers rated their overall ferry experience as excellent or good.
