Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club visits PATS Aircraft

November 24, 2013

At their Nov. 11 meeting, members of the Lewes-Rehoboth Rotary Club were treated to a tour of PATS Aircraft.

PATS was founded in 1977 in Columbia, Md., by Harvey Patrick to provide auxiliary fuel systems for jets. The facility in Georgetown was opened in 1998. It includes a 35,000-square foot manufacturing facility, four hangars capable of handling seven jets, and training, engineering, and Organizational Delegation Authorization, the FAA's streamlined certification process for equipment and its installation - at the Sussex County Airport. After opening the Delaware location, PATS began to also provide interior modification services for its clientele.

Rotary members are shown getting an insider's view of one of the PATS Aircraft hangars.
