Cape May – Lewes Ferry Offers Golf Packages - Partners with Baywood Greens and The Rookery in Delaware

(Cape May, NJ)  Looking to hit the links in the off-season?  Looking for a new challenge on the other side of the Bay?  Well, the Cape May – Lewes Ferry has partnered with two golf courses in Delaware, Baywood Greens and the Rookery, to offer great off-season golf packages to New Jersey area residents.   The golf packages include a 15% discount for round-trip ferry passage and a round of golf for $25 per player.  

“Baywood and the Rookery are great 18-hole championship courses that will challenge the skill of any golfer,” said Michael Porch, marketing manager for the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.  “So, get your foursome together for a great round golf at a fraction of the regular cost.”

The Cape May – Lewes Ferry golf package includes the following:

  • 15% discount for round trip vehicle ferry passage (including up to three vehicle passengers). With receipt from one of the participating courses, the discount will be taken off the total round-trip fare and applied to the return ferry trip.
  • Baywood Greens and The Rookery will offer a special discounted price for ferry passengers (must show ferry ticket) of $25 per player for the greens fee and a cart.
  • The package with Baywood Greens is valid from 12/1/2013 – 2/28/2014 and  the deal at The Rookery is good from 11/22/2013 through 3/31/2014.

The Rookery has two great locations, one in Milton (Rookery South) and another located in Milford (Rookery North).   The Rookery South is a championship 18-hole course in the Rehoboth Beach resort area and open to the public year round. Designed by 2004 Senior British Open winner, Pete Oakley and course visionary superintendent Chris Adkins, the Rookery South offers a wonderful, challenging experience just off the picturesque Broadkill River.

Established in 1957, the Rookery North is a well maintained 18-hole championship course located in the heart of Sussex County.  Conveniently located to Delaware’s resort areas, this challenging course will provide both relaxation and enjoyment for golfers of all skill levels.
