Sussex County Fund for Women to hold holiday event Dec. 4

Fund for Women from Sussex County will hold a holiday event from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Cordrey Center in Millsboro. The affair - Martinis, Makeovers and Shopping - will feature local merchants, including Josephine’s Daughter, East Coast Garden Center, Coolspring Cottage, Silpada Jewelry and Carol Fehrenbach, each displaying holiday gifts for guests to enjoy and purchase.

In addition, makeovers will be provided by Bling with their custom cosmetic line by Mary Kay Cosmetics and by Merle Norman Cosmetics. Raffles from the featured merchants will be held, and light refreshments along with specialty martini drinks will be served.

The event is open to founders and all women interested in the work of the Fund for Women. A $10 registration fee is required.
