Dorothy 'Dottie' Ahern, supported veterans

Mrs. Dorothy H. Ahern, known as "Dottie," passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilary Post 7447, the American Legion Ladies Auxilary Post 5 and the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540. Over the last two decades Mrs. Ahern selflessly devoted her time in supporting veterans.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Entombment will be private.
In lieu of flowers support our veterans through any VFW or American Legion or the Elks Lodge of your choice.
