James E. Shriner, 69, of Millsboro, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Beebe Healthcarein Lewes.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Md. He was former commander of the American Legion Post 122 in Randallstown, Md.
He is survived by his wife Cathleen; sons, Paul and Daniel; stepsons, Paul and Walter; grandchildren, Elena, Mandy, and Melodie; and sisters, Ruth Morris and Lois Knights. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in James’ memory to, The American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
