Mary C. Gains, St. James organist
Mary C. Gains, 75, of Millsboro, formerly of Chicago, Ill., passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes.
Mary was born in Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of the late, Clarence and Catherine (Migatz) Kennedy. She was a promoter and organist at the Anglican Parish of St. James in Georgetown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, John Michael and Joseph Matthew Gains. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, The Most Rev. John Walter Gains; and a daughter, Janet Margaret Davidson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, at noon, at St. James Anglican Church, 23269 Park Ave., Georgetown.
