Red Men and Pocahontas commemorate gift of benches to Georgetown

Nanticoke Tribe 21, Improved Order of the Red Men, and the Pocahontas of Anona Council 11 recently commemorated the placement of two benches in Georgetown, presented with friendship, charity and love to the community 15 years ago. Pictured (l-r) are Red Men who were members at the time of the installation: Great Past Sachems Red Man Charles O'Day, a member for 64 years; Fred Rust, 43 years; Ronald Moore, 42 years; and Art Mears, 42 years. The Red Men's bench sits in front of the Old Georgetown Court House on South Bedford Street.
