Mt. Olivet UM Church prepares Live Nativity and special services for Dec. 24

A stable and an empty manger sit at the doorstep of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford in anticipation of the birth of Christ on Christmas morning.

What is now an empty manger scene will come to life Christmas Eve.

Starting at 5:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 24, a Live Nativity will be on display, welcoming everyone to the church's special 6:30 p.m. Christmas Eve service for families. A second candlelight service to include Holy Communion will also be held at 9:30 p.m.

Members and nonmembers alike are invited to attend one or both services.
