Surprise guests may pop by to sit in with the Eddie Sherman Show
December 12, 2013

A new Seaside Supper Club Show will provide a New Year’s Eve warm-up party and mark the one-year anniversary of Eddie Sherman Presents with a fantastic jazz ensemble performance Saturday, Dec. 28, upstairs at Saketumi Restaurant.

Eddie Sherman and Peggy Raley will be joined on the bandstand for this performance by returning guest artists George Caldwell on piano, Cliff Kellem on bass, Cody Leavel on sax, and, appearing for the first time, Philadelphia’s Webb Thomas behind the drums. Leavel is returning home to Rehoboth Beach from his recent tour of Japan with the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Saketumi will present a Prix Fixe Jazz Buffet for this very special combined celebration. Saketumi is at 18814 Coastal Highway, north of Rehoboth Beach. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dining available immediately upon seating. Dinner runs until 7:30, when the three-hour show begins. General admission is $20/person, and tickets are available at www.eddieshermanshow.com or at the door. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

The Eddie Sherman Show will be filming its first live performance video that evening, and rumor has it that some surprise guests may pop by to sit in with the band.
