Burke Equipment delivers a carload of creatures to hospitalized kids

December 26, 2013

Spending Christmas in the hospital is hard for children, even thought it is often necessary for these small patients to receive important care through the holidays. A recent community outreach to children in various departments throughout the hospital brightened up their stay.

CeCe Babbitt of Burke Equipment Compan was accompanied by two of her grandchildren, Lily, left, and Cameron, on her annual trip to Bayhealth Kent General to present a large cartload of stuffed teddy bears, dogs, monkeys, and other animals.

Burke Equipment Company, Grace Church of Dover’s Children’s Sunday School, and Pratt Insurance Co. contributed the animals.
